TEAM  REPORTS

16 Hurling :   We defeated Russell Rvs. By 5-9 to 5-8 in a thriller before Watergrasshill beat us 2-7 to 0-6 in the semi-final. We had plenty of possession to win the game but didn’t take them. Watergrasshill went on to win the ‘East Cork’.

Fé16 Football  :   Beaten at semi-final stage by Aghada  on scoreline 3-4 to 2-5.

15  Hurling  :     Very unlucky to be beaten in the opening round by St. Catherines 1-6 to 0-8.

15  Football  :     Won the championship when defeating Glenville after an absorbing final back in March on the scoreline of 1-5 to 1-3.

14  Hurling  :   A very busy year with Féile in Cork. We hosted Navan O’Mahony’s from Meath. We played three games and got one victory. We also participated in the parade of teams in Cork and overall it was a tremendous success. We were defeated by Fr. O Neills in the semi-final of championship by 5-5 to 4-7. It looked as if we would cause a major shock when leading by eight points with ten minutes to go but late goals denied us victory. We await the final of the Paddy O’Doherty tournament where Watergrasshill will be our opponents. This will take place after Christmas.

14 Football  :  Well beaten after a disappointing performance against Killeagh/Itas who went on to win the championship.

13  Hurling  :   East Cork Champions after victories over Castlelyons, Russell Rvs. and overcoming Cobh in a thrilling final. The score in the final was 6-4 to 4-8.

13  Football  :  Reached the final only to go under to favourites Castlelyons 5-7 to 4-5 after a great display.

12  Hurling  :  Defeated by Castlelyons in the semi-final by 2-6 to 1-8 again following a pulsating contest.

12  Football  :  Once again Castlelyons got the better of us in another memorable encounter in the East Cork Final. A late goal gave them the title by four points 1-7 to 1-3.

11  Hurling  :  Run in a league format we beat Cobh, Castlelyons and Youghal but were defeated by Killeagh and Fr O’Neills and therefore didn’t qualify for final. Won the Plate final of the Mossie Twomey tournament when gaining a terrific over St Finbarrs 2-2 to 1-2.

11  Football :  Went through the campaign unbeaten and won the final over Fr O’Neills by 0-9 to 1-1.
